Mark graduated summa cum laude from the State University of New York with a degree in design and followed with a career in the clothing industry.  In his previous position of Executive Vice President at Joseph Abboud Worldwide, he was responsible for all aspects of daily operations, with a major focus on global licensing and business development for products ranging from mens and womens clothing and accessories to home decor.  In the United States, Joseph Abboud products are distributed through the upper tier of department stores such as Nordstom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales, and Macys.

In June of 2002, Mark and his family moved west, returning to his roots in Oregon.  Like modern-day pioneers, they bought a 36 foot motorhome and lived on the road for quite a while, touring these great United States from Niagara Falls to Miami Beach, from Dollywood to Hollywood.  It was a fantastic experience and highly recommended if you have the chance.
